Roaring Fork Landscapes is a culmination of long-term expertise, creative vision, and professionalism. Owner and designer Tom Friel began his career in the industry as a prodigy at the young age of 8 under his father’s successful company, Friel Landscaping.

After attending Villanova University, he came to Colorado and established Blue River Landscaping in Summit County in 1992. As business soon expanded across the state, Roaring Fork Landscapes was established in Aspen in 2002, beginning to serve the Roaring Fork Valley.

Roaring Fork Landscapes is known for its vast knowledge of irrigation and erosion control as well as intricate water features. Projects range from intimate courtyards to large-scale multiple-use domestic and commercial landscapes and hardscapes. The company is also celebrated for its innovative patio design and installation.

As Senior Foreman, Tom adheres to the strictest ethical standards in building specifications and employee performance, delivering the highest-quality work. Tom's high standards reflect his personal values of building relationships and delivering quality service to his clients.
